they appreciate that i keep a low profile on them and i don't post much about kids on the blog-i fear all of the eye rolling. i take pictures and directly following the shutter release-they tell me i am not allowed to ' tweet about this' or 'post that picture on facebook'. i respect that... most of the time. but this... this is my blog and i can do what i want-so i'm gonna share a few personal images {just don't tell 'em}.

yesterday, i took the day off to spend with our girl, shaniah. nails, hair, make-up...check, check and check. she is most definitely her father's daughter-worrying about the time, making sure we're on schedule... if i told her to reeeeeelax one more time i think she might have kicked me in the shin. we managed to fit in a very quick little photo shoot...

shaniah moved from her 'home' school to the extended french program 2 years ago-and she'll continue it in high school-i'm very proud of all that she has accomplished. i admire her determination, her work habits and her commitment to school and the clubs and activities she participates in. she's brave. she's quiet, but i wouldn't say she's shy. she's confident. i love when she laughs. she's beautiful.

here's what you're saying ...

oh, well - that is interesting - Stacy is complex on the issue of Chloe to be honest - he always tells me she doesn’t like him very much. Then I ask why, and he tells me he doesn’t know - and I ask if she was mean to him, and he says no…but he still doesn’t think she likes him very much.  Then he tells me all the times she was nice to him, or they had a good time - but…. he doesn’t think she likes him very much. For a very straight forward kid, this is more complicated than I am used to from him.

Inquiring minds (Chloe) want to know what Stacy thinks of Chloe ; )

oh, she is just like you, Nataschia! I asked Stacy to describe Shaniah in 2 sentences - he said, “She is kind and loving person. And beautiful”
That sounds like a crush on a babysitter to me!!

: )))  Mary- you do know how to make me smile!  thanks for coffee and pie this morning… and for a GREAT session!  Looking forward to posting! Chat soon!

Beautiful girls & boy - great work Nataschia.  Shaniah is definitely your daughter but I’d say you two look more like sisters.  And what gorgeous blue eyes!
