'i am myles. this is my family.'
i photographed david and vicky's wedding a few years ago and it's pretty wonderful to see my couples come back with their little ones! and this little one is so sweet-look at those soft eyes...
i try to come up with different 'sets' for each session... i want my families to have a unique wall portrait in their home. when looking for inspiration i'll look through magazines, books, i've pulled inspiration from store front windows, cataogues... this time it was sent to me by a friend... after watching a video on you tube... i set up the bed in the studio for vicky and david.
this image brings me back to when the kids were babies and they'd wake up early...on any given weekend morning, we'd have them all in bed with us for a snuggle.
David is pretty quiet... but in these images-i think his smile and the light in his eyes says it all...you are blessed.
and all this layin' around and modelling has tuckered little myles out!
Vicky, your little love note after the session... warmed my heart. your sweet family also warms my heart!
in other news... last night i received quite a special little delivery-more on that later. yep-just stringin' you along. oh- and i have a few other sessions to post!

Myles’ big cousins love the shots…and so do I! I love the special touches too - reminds me a bit of Anthropology’s promos - they have incredibly creative ways to model their clothing and housewares with a lot of attention to special details (like the chair Myles is sitting on and the lamp and flowers by the bed). What a good looking family to work with!
